Sam`s Pizza Restaurant in Rockton

A bit of a wait, but enjoyed this pizza as a kid...still yummy.

This is not-to-be-missed pizza if you’re in the area (and worth a journey to if you're not)!

Sam's is delicious! Ive loved this place since I was a child and I will continue to love it long into the future! The pizza is made fresh and by hand and the crust is always crispy and light.

We live nearby now. We will be ordering more often.

Service is awful. Food is not fresh. Staff and owners believe they are better than thou.

The Gnocchi was delicious! Only my second time here and I was very happy with service and quality of food. Pizza on my first trip was very good as well.

Very good piza a lot for ur money just need a TV on the south wall to so we could watch while we ate too we parked down town rockton which is the neatis like right out of the 60s and still alive it's a experience that's close to home to enjoy

Sam's is our go to place for Pizza. The pizza is always hot and fresh, however it is rarely made the way we ask. When my husband stops in to pick up our order the staff is never friendly to him. I wish there was another option that tasted as good as Sam's because we would go somewhere else in a heartbeat! Great pizza, terrible customer service experience.

Great food, great service, large portions.

Unfortunately we ordered two pizzas at this facility that tasted like the cheese had a plastic taste to it. We notified them and they remade the pizzas. The owner claimed nothing was wrong and was asking how many pieces we ate. Pizzas were still there minus the 4 pieces we threw away. Apon arriving with the old pizzas and getting the new ones , they tasted the same so we returned those also. He refused to refund our money so this place just lost our buisness forever. We have been going to sams for 15+ years. This is the first issue we have had with them.

Had their lunch special pizzas,,a small for me and a medium for hubby. The medium ($6) was big enough for both of us. So we had plenty of leftovers. Very good and friendly. The beer was cold too. Will definitely return.

Nice, spacious, Italian restaurant with warm, friendly, family atmosphere! Lots of tasty pasta options to choose from, not just great pizza! Prices & food tastiness intermediate between Fazoli's & Olive Garden.

1st time at Sam's in Rockton. Found it very pleasant. Pizza was good. Cod dinner was very tasty. Tarter Sauce was excellent. I was told that they recently changed to a new recipe for their fries. The fries were so good! I would recommend Sam's to my friends!

Always a hometown favorite! Love the pizza and a stones throw from Rockton night life, parades and sporting events.

This is a horrible place, they gave my cousin’s boyfriend and chicken sandwich with a dirty napkin. He got a new one but they still charged. Calling my mom rude. My grandmas chicken was dry to. Never go to this place. Workers are mean.

Very courteous, good service, great food.

After waiting almost an hour and a half waiting for our food while people who came in after us received their food, we asked to just pay for our drinks so we could go somewhere else and they were rude so finally our food came out. I got lasagna the noodles were not even cooked, my mom had chefs salad which came with none other than processed singles cheese torn into pieces. When checking out they asked how the food was and my mom told them disappointing, the guy told the owner we were not happy with the service and his response was that the service was fine. They kept saying they were busy like that makes it okay. We order from there quite often but after the poor treatment tonight we will definitely take our business elsewhere.

Always enjoy going to Sam's in Rockton. In fact, we've been ordering pizza from Sam's for carryout or dine-in for over 20 years, and the quality and service has remained the same. I would rather order carryout pizza from Sam's in Rockton, make the 30 minute round trip to bring the pizza back home before I would order from some of the pizza places near my home in northwestern Rockford.
